Botox
cosmetic is a purified protein. It is a non-surgical, physician-administered treatment that
can temporarily reduce moderate to severe frown lines. This is the only treatment of its type approved by the
FDA for this use. The
effect of each treatment can last up to four months.
Restylane is a safe and
natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and
fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial
wrinkles and folds. It
was the first cosmetic filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Restylane
has been safely used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons
since 1996 worldwide.
Collagen is a natural
protein that provides structural support.
It is found throughout the body in skin, muscle, tendon
and bone. Collagen
is made of highly purified bovine collagen.
These materials can be injected into your skin to
supplement your body’s own collagen and actually fill
certain lines and facial furrows.
Collagen has been used successfully since the 1970s.
Juvederm
is the latest dermal filler, a smooth gel, non-animal filler
that lasts up to 6 months. Juvederm has the highest
concentration of hyaluronic acid and a special formulation
process.
Perlane
restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds).
