“Caring for women across the lifespan throughout the normal processes of puberty, through birth and motherhood and into menopause.”
The birth of Sarah’s first son with wonderful hospital midwives in San Francisco propelled her into this work. Hoping to provide women with the same care she received, Sarah left a career as a research chemist to become a Certified-Nurse Midwife. The journey has been amazing. She has had the honor of welcoming babies into the world in both the home and hospital settings, in Chicago and Sweden and now here in Orange County. Sarah blends her home and hospital birth experience to provide a low interventionist, hands on approach. She seeks to honor her first midwives as she cares for women and their families at OCWMG.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to hike, cook and eat with her wonderful husband and beautiful boys: all of whom are an endless source of love and support to her in this special and important work she does for women.
